Bio

Jimelle Roberts, a native Vincentian is a member of RISE CERC. Currently, she is pursuing studies in the Master of Philosophy in Education programme, at the University of the West Indies (UWI). She is an alumna of both The University of the West of England (UWE)-Bristol and Manchester Metropolitan University, having graduated with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics and a MSc. in Speech and Language Therapy, respectively. Presently, she is a Speech and Language Pathologist but holds over 5 years of experience within the teaching profession at the secondary level, few of which were dedicated to being the Head of a Language Department. Her research interest is within Special Educational Needs, in particular the application of more Parent Child Interaction programmes within the Caribbean, to foster positive relationships between parents and children with SEN.
