The Department of Management Studies at the Cave Hill Campus was established in May 1983 and grew out of the Unit of Administration and Accounting which came into being in February 1980. Similar, but much older Departments of Management Studies are located at the St. Augustine and Mona campuses and all three departments share common courses and examinations. This department is responsible for teaching in the areas of Accounting, Management, Public Sector Management and B.Sc. degrees are taught in these disciplines. The department also offers other programmes in Hospitality & Tourism Management (in collaboration with the Barbados Community College) and Management with Spanish, French or Psychology.
At the graduate level
the department offers M.Sc. degrees in Project Management & Evaluation, International Management, Tourism and Hoapitality Management, Investment and Wealth Management, Construction Management, Management and Management with Specilations.
