Open to nationals of Barbados who are past students of Queen’s College, Barbados and have completed a minimum of 18 credits at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and are pursuing a major within the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) in any science discipline |
| Value: | BDS$2,500.00 per annum |
| Criteria: | Applicants for the undergraduate scholarship must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 and be registered as a full-time student. Applicants must provide adequate documentary support for financial need as requested by the Undergraduate Scholarship Review Committee. As part of the application, a written narrative, ranging from 500-800 words, detailing the applicant’s personal journey. This narrative should provide insight into the endeavours and obstacles encountered on the path to, or journey while at, The UWI. Applicants are encouraged to share how they were able to overcome these obstacles – physical, mental, or otherwise – and how these experiences have shaped current ambitions and future aspirations. |
