The courses in this programme are typically delivered online. The research component may demand some level of face-to-face interaction with academic faculty and other stakeholders.

This programme carries a critical research component.  The research paper/thesis must be a significant contribution to knowledge, and must be orally defended through viva voce.

Please note that fees may be adjusted for academic year 2023-2024. 

The DBA programme seeks candidates who have an/a:

MBA qualification from a UWI-approved institution

OR

Master’s degree from a UWI-approved institution with a minimum B+ average

AND

A proven record of accomplishment at managerial level

OR

Five (5) years full-time lecturing experience in a management related discipline at the tertiary level

All applicants being considered for acceptance shall be interviewed. Academically exceptional students who do not possess the requisite work experience will be considered.

The potential candidate must also submit an indication of research interest, the reason for the pursuit of same and expected outcomes. The essay of no more than eight hundred (800) words must be submitted with the application.
