The transition from individual contributor to supervisor is one of the most important and challenging steps in a professional’s career. Success in this role requires more than technical expertise. It demands the ability to lead people, communicate effectively, manage performance, and inspire teams to achieve shared goals.

The Supervisor Readiness Programme (Pre-Manager Pathway) is designed to prepare emerging leaders with the practical skills, confidence, and leadership mindset required to excel in their first supervisory role. Through an engaging, hands-on learning experience, participants will develop the core competencies needed to effectively manage day-to-day operations while building productive, motivated, and accountable teams.

The programme explores the essential responsibilities of frontline leadership, including communication, emotional intelligence, delegation, coaching, conflict resolution, time management, and performance supervision. Participants will also strengthen their ability to solve workplace challenges, make sound decisions, and lead with professionalism and integrity in fast-paced and evolving work environments.

Designed for aspiring supervisors, team leads, coordinators, high-potential employees, and professionals preparing for leadership responsibilities, this programme provides practical tools and techniques that can be immediately applied in the workplace. It serves as the first step in SCHSBM’s management development pathway, creating a strong foundation for future progression into management and senior leadership roles.
