Women in Leadership 2027

Programme Overview

Take the Chair. Then Move the Table.

The Caribbean does not have a pipeline problem. It has women who out-educate men at every post-secondary level, who hold the most senior political offices in two member states, and who still hold four per cent of the region’s listed-company chief executive seats. You are not here to be developed. You are here to decide what you are going to do about that.

Women in Leadership is built for the woman who is already the most senior woman in most rooms she enters. This is not a programme about teaching women how to become leaders. The programme is built around one central leadership question: once you have the chair, what are you prepared — and able — to move? Taking the Chair is about stepping fully into the weight of senior leadership: making difficult calls, using judgement under pressure, influencing people and decisions beyond your formal authority, and holding your ground when the stakes are high. Moving the Table is about using that leadership position to change what needs changing, shifting entrenched ways of working, moving people behind a difficult agenda, strengthening the leadership bench, and using your influence to make a difference at the national, regional and global level. The measure of leadership becomes not just the position you held, but what changed because you held it.

Through high-stakes simulations, executive cases, peer advisory sessions, strategic negotiations and work on a real Executive Challenge Statement, you will confront the questions that become increasingly important at senior levels. How do I move an agenda when interests collide? How do I challenge the room without losing the room? How do I lead when there is no obvious answer? How do I build power without being consumed by politics? How do I convert authority into institutional impact? And what will be different because I led?

The result is not simply greater confidence. It is greater agency, judgement, influence and executive impact.
