The Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management (SCHSBM) invites applications for the Resilient Economies & Value Chain Leadership Scholarship—a partial-tuition award supporting postgraduate candidates who are strengthening financial systems, advancing good governance, and enhancing value-chain resilience across regional and global markets.

This scholarship recognizes individuals who demonstrate the potential to drive economic transformation and support sustainable financial structures across the region and beyond.

SCHSBM will award up to five (5) scholarships, each covering 25% of tuition for the full duration of the programme.


Applicable Programmes

This scholarship applies to candidates accepted into the following Postgraduate programmes

MBA Energy

Focuses on leadership within the evolving global energy sector. The programme covers energy markets, policy, finance, and sustainability, preparing graduates to lead energy transition and economic resilience initiatives.

MBA Finance

Designed for leaders shaping resilient financial systems in a rapidly evolving global economy. This programme develops advanced expertise in financial strategy, investment analysis, and risk management, equipping graduates to drive sustainable value creation, strengthen governance, and support long-term economic stability across markets.



Eligibility

  1. Applicants must be accepted into a part-time postgraduate programme listed as eligible for the Resilient Economies & Value Chain Leadership Scholarship at the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus (SCHSBM).

    Applicants must meet all entry requirements for the relevant postgraduate programme and formally accept their offer of admission to be considered for the scholarship.

    Open to domestic and international candidates.


Essay Requirement

Applicants are required to submit a short essay of approximately 600 words on the topic:

“How do you envision strengthening financial systems, governance, or value-chain resilience in your industry or community, and how will the MBA support you in leading that transformation?”​

Essays should reflect the applicant’s interest in strengthening economic systems, enhancing financial and governance structures, or improving value chain performance across local, regional, or international contexts.
