Ms. Jan’ive Small, an alumnus of UWI with a double major in Accounting and Finance has been an employee of the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management since 2018, where she completed a one year internship programme. Subsequent to achieving an MSc. in Financial Management, she worked voluntarily with the school in both the Accounts and Academics Departments.

In 2020, Ms. Small became a full-time Assistant Accountant at SCHSBM. In this current capacity, her tasks include, but are not limited to assisting in the management of the school’s balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliation, VAT, petty cash and deposits and ensuring that the system software (Accpac) is updated. Prior to her employment with SCHSBM, she worked in St. Lucia at the Gros-Islet Co-Operative as a Manager, Mon Repos Credit Union as a Teller and Lewis Industries Ltd as an Accounts Clerk. 

Ms. Small is an outgoing individual who enjoys water sports, playing instruments and vlogging. She also loves tutoring undergraduate Accounting and Finance courses at UWI. This opportunity to share in the classroom makes her job at SCHSBM all the more enjoyable.
