About the Programme

The Major in Biochemistry provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of biochemistry, knowledge of metabolism and and training in the exciting new areas of molecular biology, genomics, and  bioinfomatics.  BSc.

  • Molecular Biology Laboratories- gel electrophoresis, gel documentation software and tools

  • Low temperature freezers
  • Access to DNA sequencing, among others



Our department does research in Plant Pathology, Metabolic diseases (e.g. Diabetes), Data Science, Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology
