It is with much pleasure that we welcome you to the Department of Government, Sociology, Social Work and Psychology (GSSWP). We are a talented and committed group of instructors coupled with very supportive administrative staff, who are dedicated to the advancement of Caribbean development in particular, and global well-being in general, through student-centered teaching and learning, cutting-edge research and excellent public service. We endeavor to create an enabling environment for our students to achieve their learning goals. We in GSSWP look forward to working with you in this exciting learning journey—to acquire the relevant knowledge and skills in order to effectively change the dynamics of people's livelihood systems from "what is" to a desirable one.
