The Department offers a Special in History. This requires the student to take eighteen (18) courses for a total of fifty-four (54) credits over the three levels as shown in Programme Details below. The 2020/2021 Undergraduate Student Handbook .

You must complete at least eighteen (18) three–credit History courses for a total of 54 credits, distributed as follows:
LEVEL I
HIST1601 – Atlantic World 1400-1600
HIST1602 – Atlantic World 1600-1800
HIST1703 – Introduction to History
and one (1) other Level I History course
LEVEL II
HIST2003 – History of the West Indies I
HIST2004 – History of the West Indies II
HIST2900 – Research Methods in History
and FOUR (4) other Level II History courses
LEVEL III
Any SEVEN (7) Level III History courses
