With the commencement of Semester 2, the MyCaveHill eLearning LMS continues to be instrumental to teaching and learning at the UWI Cave Hill campus. Whether your course is face-to-face (technology-mediated), blended or online, MyCaveHill eLearning is an essential technology space that further helps to engage, communicate with, and assess your students. Not sure what MyCaveHill eLearning is all about and what it can do for you? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We have provided some information that would help you in this regard.

A – What is MyCaveHill eLearning?
MyCaveHill eLearning is one of the campus’s main platforms for online, blended or technology-mediated teaching and learning. It is a learning management system (LMS) that facilitates course delivery, assessments, communication and activities. It also allows you to upload your course content, and create Zoom sessions for synchronous/asynchronous teaching. To access your course containers in MyCaveHill eLearning, the following criteria must be met:
B – How Do I Verify & Access My Courses On MyCaveHill eLearning?
Once students register for your course on the timetable (via BANNER/CHOL), they are automatically be enrolled/unenrolled in your MyCaveHill eLearning course container. It is therefore important that you access banner to verify your course assignments & class lists and also access your course container on MyCaveHill eLearning particularly within the current context of teaching and learning at the UWI.
C – MyCaveHill eLearning Training and Support?
Throughout the semester, the CETL will host various synchronous and asynchronous avenues to provide you with further training and support in the use of MyCaveHill eLearning, Zoom and other Information communication technologies, educational research, and best practices in teaching and learning. To this end, please feel free to contact any one of our CETL Team members for workshops, training sessions, clinics/tutorials and support.
