This course consists of 60 hours of English for academic purposes (EAP). It focuses on:

• Writing across the genres
• Mechanics of language
• Grammar in context
• Communicative use of language
• Socio-cultural learning

On successful completion of this course participants will be able to:

• Use the writing process to write across the genres (description, narration, exposition, argument)
• Use writing strategies to formulate outlines
• Correctly use mechanics in their writing
• Negotiate meaning of the target language through drama and role-play
• Review the significance of the tours and excursions in which they participated
• Report (orally and in writing)
