Location
The Student Experience Team (SXT) is located on the first floor of the CLR James Building, near the entrance to the Main Campus.
Role
The Student Experience Team supports the continuous enhancement of the quality of students’ learning and service experience at The UWI Cave Hill Campus. We support Faculties and administrative units in the design and delivery of student-centred academic programmes, administrative services and support services by conducting market and institutional research. We also coordinate processes for monitoring the quality of the student experience and strengthening the culture of student-centredness on Campus.
Services
- Market research to support academic programme proposals
- User research to inform the design or re-design of services for students
- Administration of UWIchoice (UWI Cave Hill Online Insight Community for Enhancement), providing on-demand insight for service and programme enhancement www.uwichoice.ning.com
- Course experience reviews of academic and co-curricular courses www.cavehill.uwi.edu/courseexperience
- Non-academic learning experience research, including reviews of student orientation and career events, and personal development programmes
- Training on the Campus’ Quality Management System
- PULSE Points programme (Positioning the University to Lead through Service Excellence) administration, promoting a culture of student centredness and service excellence www.cavehill.uwi/PULSE
