What happens after I give my feedback?
The Student Experience Team compiles results of course experience reviews. These are provided to instructors/lecturers, Heads of Department and Deans. They include aggregate results (your ratings, combined with those of your colleagues) and anonymous comments from all students who submitted reviews.
Instructors use your feedback to make adjustments to their courses or teaching strategies. So, it's important to give honest ratings and make sure that your comments are constructive. Heads and Deans review course reports to identify areas for commendation or improvement. Departments and Faculties may implement various strategies for improvement, if needed, including, for example, training for course instructors.

-
How can I be sure that my feedback will remain anonymous?
Only authorised staff members of the Student Experience Team process data from course experience reviews. Students’ individual submissions are kept in the strictest confidence. Although you must enter your student ID number and contact information at the end if you want to be considered for the prize draw (where applicable), when reports for course experience reviews are produced, student IDs are neither used nor included. These reports are generated based on submissions per course, Department or Faculty and only include aggregate ratings (all students’ combined answers to the questions about their courses) and a list of all students’ anonymous comments (if provided). This ensures that no student can be individually identified by an instructor. So, you are free to share your honest views and offer constructive comments.

Why do all students need to complete course experience reviews?
If only a few students submitted course experience reviews, your instructor and the University would not have a true picture of how students felt about their course experience, on average. This could affect decisions about future course design and delivery.
-
I've already submitted my course experience reviews. What else can I do to recognise my lecturers for outstanding teaching or exceptional support?
Consider nominating outstanding lecturers for an award under the Campus' employee recognition programme, PULSE Points – Positioning UWI to Lead through Service Excellence. It's easy. Take a minute to share one or more examples of how your lecturer has impressed you this semester by going beyond the call of duty to demonstrate attentiveness, efficiency or courtesy. Read more about the programme here and submit your nominations here.

-
Can I still complete a paper course experience review?
Paper course experience reviews are no longer being administered. This means that you can now complete your reviews confidentially and at your convenience. Reports on course experience reviews can also be prepared and sent to instructors more quickly.
