Conscious Vibrations
Objective
The primary aim of these workshops is to provide a forum where students can discuss issues that affect society, build character and promote civic responsibility.

Learning Outcomes
It is expected that after completing these sessions students will be able to:

1) Identify societal issues
2) Develop their personal character
3) Improve their attitude toward service
4) Develop tolerance for life perspectives different from their own

 
Community Outreach
Objective
The primary aim of this segment is to provide practical opportunities where students can learn more about marginalised populations and the different social agencies that are actively engaged in providing services to them.

Learning Outcomes
It is expected that after participating in the outreach segment students will have:

1) Greater knowledge about the work of NGO’S and social agencies
2) Increase their level of engagement in the community
3) Greater tolerance of diverse groups in society (homeless, disabled, children etc.)

Volunteer Opportunities
Objective
The primary aim of this segment is to provide short – medium term opportunities for students to engage in service.

Learning Outcomes
It is expected that after participating in these volunteer opportunities students will be able to:

1) Engage in meaningful and repetitive service in their communities
2) Increase their inter-cultural knowledge.
3) Develop their interpersonal skills (particularly the ability to work well with others)
4) Connect with professionals and community members for learning and career opportunities
