{"id":71,"date":"2021-06-08T11:10:04","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T15:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/sportadministration\/"},"modified":"2025-12-11T04:49:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T08:49:00","slug":"administration","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/sport\/blackbirds-club\/administration\/","title":{"rendered":"Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container-fluid page-wrapper\">\n<section>\n<div id=\"dept_content\">\n<div id=\"sub_content\" class=\"bodytext\">\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h1 class=\"page-header\">Blackbirds Club Administration<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.cavehill.uwi.edu\/newhistphil\/images\/homepage-images\/structure2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Executive Committee<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Executive shall comprise of:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"404Error\" target=\"_blank\">Academy Head (President)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Principal (Principal&rsquo;s Representative)<\/li>\n<li>Bursar (Bursar&rsquo;s Representative)<\/li>\n<li>Head of Coaching<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"404Error\" target=\"_blank\">Administrative Assistant ( Secretary)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/sportstudent-representatives\/\" target=\"_blank\">Games Committee Chairperson of the Guild of Students<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Coaches&#39; Representative<\/li>\n<li>Athletes&rsquo; Representative<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"404Error\" target=\"_blank\">Operations Manager (Treasurer)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Professional Development Officer<\/li>\n<li>Sports Coordinators (Assistant Secretaries)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h3>\nThe Annual General Meeting<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>An annual general meeting shall be held the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> week of September and shall:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li>Receive all accounts for the previous year ending July 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Discuss the calendar for the entire year<\/li>\n<li>Elect the sub-committees as it sees fit, from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<h3>\nSub-Committees<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sub-committees shall be established by the Executive Committee when needed. The mandated sub-committees are:<\/p>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li>Fundraising and Awards Committee<\/li>\n<li>Community Outreach and PRO Committee\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:circle;\">\n<li>Wings Volunteer (Sub-Committee)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"lc-block\" editable=\"rich\">\n<ul>\n<li>Social and Recreational Committee<\/li>\n<li>Disciplinary Committee<\/li>\n<li>Sub-committee for the coaches and the athletes where they can have a forum to address any concerns or initiatives they may have.
