Ms. Alicia Brewster
Physiotherapist
Alicia is a registered Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working predominantly in the area of sports. During this time, she has worked with local, national, regional and international teams. Most recently she toured with the Barbados team to the ANOC World Beach Games (Qatar, 2019) for beach wrestling. She has also worked with national teams at the Pan American Games (Peru 2019), Central American & Caribbean Games (Colombia, 2018), Commonwealth Youth Games (Bahamas, 2017) and FIBA CBC Championship (British Virgin Islands 2014).
Alicia has served as the Physiotherapist to the Bermuda Cricket team (2013) during warm up games against various cricket teams in Barbados and to the Cayman Islands Rugby 7s team during the North America Caribbean Rugby Association 7s tournament (Barbados 2011).
Since 2010, she has worked with the University of the West Indies Cave Hill sports program across multiple sporting disciplines such as football, track and field, hockey, basketball and cricket. She has worked five UWI Games with the Cave Hill team and in 2019 served as the Lead of the Cave Hill Medical Team.
Alicia regularly works with the Barbados Netball Association, predominantly with their junior national team. However, she has also worked with the senior national team on numerous occasions including the AFNA Qualifiers (St. Lucia 2010, Barbados 2018), Pre-Commonwealth Warmup Games (England 2010).
