Conference Title: Sport for All: Access, Inclusion, Opportunity

The University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill Campus is pleased to invite researchers, academics, policymakers, industry leaders, and students to submit papers for the 2nd Caribbean Sport Conference. Under the theme “Sport for All: Access, Inclusion, Opportunity” this conference aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and policy development to ensure equitable access to sport, promote inclusive participation across all communities, and create meaningful opportunities for everyone to thrive in sport.

Submission Guidelines
A. Author Biography
Include a brief biography for each author, not exceeding 100 words per author. This biography should highlight the authors’ qualifications, expertise, relevant background, and professional. Submit the biographies as a Word document using the format below.
B. Abstract Submission:
Submissions should be emailed to caribbeansportconference@cavehill.uwi.edu with the title “Caribbean Sport Conference Paper Submission”. Please submit abstracts as a word document using the following format:
- Thematic Area: Indicate the thematic area from the listing above (e.g. Adaptive Sport) to which your paper is relevant.
- Title of Paper: Provide a clear and concise title for your paper.
- Author(s): List each author’s full name.
- Institutional Affiliation: Include the institutional affiliation of each author.
- Email Address(es): Provide the email address(es) of the author(s) for correspondence.
- Abstract – The abstract may not exceed 300 words and should concisely summarize the key points of your paper Up to six keywords.
C. Paper Types: Select One of the Below Categories
- Research Papers: These present original findings from empirical studies or theoretical research.
- Review Papers: This category synthesizes existing research on a specific topic, identifying trends, gaps and future direction. The papers are more descriptive or instructional.
- Case Studies: Case studies describe specific instances of practice, intervention, or experiences in real-world settings. This paper highlights lessons learned and practical implications.
- Position Papers: Any paper that argues a specifics viewpoint or policy stance on an issue, supported by evidence and reasoning.
- Conceptual Papers: These papers are not based on research but will explore new ideas, models and frameworks to advance theoretical understanding.
- Technical Papers: This type of paper explores new ideas and methodologies often accompanied by a demonstration.
