Mr. John Burnett

Lecturer in Accounting and Finance

Mr. John Burnett carries a wealth of knowledge and professional experience with him into the classroom, having served in both private and public sector organisations in the areas of Auditing, Accounting and Finance. He has worked with the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management for over twenty-five (25) years.  Starting as a Tutor in 2000, he made the decision to enter fully into academia by taking up a Lecturership in Accounting in 2005.  His teaching excellence has been recognised nationally with a nomination for the Guardian General’s Excellence in Teaching Award.  

Mr. Burnett is equally well-known and respected for his musical ability. Having been trained by master organist  Bentley Callender, his talents in the organ, flute and choir directing are in the demand within church circles.
