Mr. Correy Mitchell

Assistant Lecturer

Mr. Correy Mitchell joined the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management (SCHSBM) in 2019 as a Research Assistant. For the past five years he has assisted with the implementation of a number of research and consultant projects in both the private and public sectors. Correy holds a B.A. in Psychology and a MSc. in Applied Psychology, and is a member of international organiations including the American Psychological Association (APA) and the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP). His research interests include statistical analysis, emotions at work, customer-service behaviors, emotional intelligence, human resource management issues and the structure and measurement of personality traits. Additionally, he nurtures a keen interest in designing and implementing knowledge sharing and advocacy strategies to raise awareness of the importance of personality traits and emotional intelligence in workplace conduct and performance. Correy is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Psychology at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
