About the Programme
Tourism is the mainstay of several economies across the globe and is becoming a significant contributor to GDP for others as new variations of the tourism product emerge. The International Tourism Management with French degree will provide the knowhow to manage tourism in a global context while equipping you with the skills to converse in French, one of the world's top five languages in terms of number of speakers. This degree opens doors in locations such as Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.

Research
Our Faculty conducts research in a wide cross-section of areas related to Tourism and Hospitality, including sustainable tourism development and foreign direct investment in tourism.
The Co-ordinator of the programme, Dr. Sherma Roberts is the primary author of the text ‘Contemporary Caribbean Tourism Concepts and Cases’ which is the signal foundation text for the Caribbean Secondary Examinations Council (CSEC) qualification in Tourism Studies.
Tourism Lecturer Dr. Cristina Jönsson has served as a regional tourism manager in Sweden, and prepared and executed a tourism master plan on behalf of a municipal government in Europe.
