
The Diploma in Management with a focus on Human Resource Management (DM-HR) exposes participants to a wealth of knowledge and techniques related to the management of human capital. The programme gives comprehensive coverage of key aspects of the field including human resources development and planning, human resources management, compensation and industrial relations.
The DM-HR seeks to enrich the practical ability of participants as they learn from academics as well as senior human resource management professionals. Additionally, the DM-HR provides a platform for acceleration into the Cave Hill School of Business and Management MBA programme, since successful completion of the diploma increases the probability of meeting the entry requirements.
The Faculty of the Cave Hill School of Business and Management conducts research in a wide cross-section of areas including, but not limited to, leadership, workplace bullying, psychometric assessment, entrepreneurship, business development, consumer behaviour, marketing, project management, industrial psychology, ethics, finance and investments, and accounting theory and practice.

An applicant must have either:
1. A UWI Certificate in Business Administration or Public Administration, a two-year diploma from a UWI recognised institution in a related field, 5 CXCs (or O’levels) and a minimum of 2 years junior to middle level management experience;
OR
2. An Associate Degree from a UWI recognised institution and a minimum of two years junior to middle level management experience;
OR
3. At least 5 CXCs (or O’levels) and a minimum of four years middle to senior level management experience.
