Programme Overview

Creating Public Value and Advancing the Common Good

It is undeniable that leaders and managers face a great deal of challenges due to the complexity of public-sector organisations and the ongoing changes and disruptions in today’s public sector. Public leaders are challenged with delivering results in a business environment marked by complex issues, geopolitical unrest, inflexible organisational frameworks, and growing demands for efficiency, trust, and transparency. To close the gap between public organisations’ objectives and the resources available to fulfill them, leaders need to continuously retool and refine their abilities to stay abreast with the rapidly evolving global landscape. With the Public Leadership and Management Certificate, you will develop the leadership toolkit you need to make your public sector career soar and advance the common good. You will learn how to increase the efficacy and efficiency of your organisation and develop the public leadership skills central to growing your leadership capability. Leaders will investigate how transformative change occurs in intricate public systems, how to use the language of leadership to influence policy, and how co-creation is used by public leaders and non-profit organisations to advance public value.

Acquire the leadership acuity required to manage stakeholder relations, form strategic alliances, and accomplish public management objectives. Create governance frameworks and employ leadership strategies that promote creativity in new initiatives for the public sector. With an emphasis on contemporary public management trends, topics, and cutting-edge best practices, this programme will help you to address important leadership issues facing the public sector today and make a real difference in the communities you serve.
