HR Essentials for Supervisors and Managers

Registration is Open

Overview

Whether you are new to HR, transitioning into a supervisory or managerial role or have had some experience in the field, the SCHSBM’s HR Essentials for Supervisors and Managers programme is designed for professionals whose responsibilities include managing the performance of employees. This programme will develop delegates’ understanding of the HR function and how to effectively perform the fundamental HR functions. Moreover, the programme will equip supervisors and managers with the foundational HR knowledge in effective talent acquisition, training and development and performance management. The HR training provided will equip delegates with the HR tools needed to recruit the right talent, communicate effectively and appropriately manage a range of HR disciplinary and grievance issues in the workplace. Delegates will have the opportunity to apply their skills to real-world cases to better equip themselves for situations they are likely to encounter as supervisors and managers. Additionally, this programme will enable delegates to fulfil their HR responsibilities and manage talent in their organisation by equipping them with the HR skills and tools pertinent to perform these specialised roles.
