Coaching and Influencing for Impact

Programme Overview

Unlock Performance Through Coaching: Leading Conversations That Matter

Move people to action without leaning on hierarchy. Today’s realities are clear: tighter deadlines, dispersed teams, decisions that cannot wait. What separates effective leaders is not technical know-how alone. It is the ability to spark motivation, build trust fast, and win commitment in high-stakes moments.

Coaching and Influencing for Impact cuts through theory and zeroes in on the conversations that matter most at work: the oneonones that drive growth, the team discussions that set direction, and the stakeholder exchanges that determine whether ideas take flight or stall. You will learn how to ask the questions that shift perspectives, listen in a way that builds confidence and ownership, and tell compelling stories that align others around a shared goal.

Through this programme, you will walk away with sharper coaching instincts, practical influence strategies, and the confidence to lead conversations that accelerate results. More than just new techniques, you will leave with a toolkit for becoming the kind of leader whose impact is felt immediately, in team performance, in stakeholder alignment, and in the ability to turn ideas into action.

Programme Objectives

On successful completion of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Conduct coaching conversations that result in clear next steps and accountability.
  • Identify key motivators and barriers for team members through active listening and summarising their perspectives.
  • Create and use targeted questions in conversations and meetings that uncover new insights or solutions.
  • Provide specific, actionable feedback in real-time situations that leads to observable behaviour change.
  • Apply influence strategies to build trust, clarity, and alignment.
  • Evaluate resistance in conversations and adapt communication or approach to gain commitment or action.
  • Manage difficult conversations with colleagues or clients and achieve mutually acceptable outcomes while maintaining rapport.
