About the Programme

The Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) with a focus on Human Resource Management is designed for seasoned HR professionals aspiring to advance their leadership and strategic management skills. The curriculum focuses on content including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. Emphasis is placed on aligning HR strategies with overall business objectives. During the course of the programme, persons will engage in case studies and collaborative projects to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world HR challenges. Networking opportunities within the HR community and exposure to industry experts are also integral aspects of the programme. This programme seeks to empower HR professionals with the insights and skills needed to contribute strategically to organisational success while navigating the complexities of human resource management

Programme Fees (as at August 2024)  = BDS $ 37,000.
Please note that fees may be adjusted at any time.

Graduates of an approved university with at least a Second-Class Honors degree, or who in the opinion of UWI, have an equivalent professional qualification;

  •  Possess between three to five years relevant management experience;
  •  Senior Managers or are earmarked for senior management or are seeking to switch careers paths;
  •  Capable of committing to a rigorous and flexible course of study for personal development as a manager;
  •  Current permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, heads of departments/organization/institution and/or are deputy managers, experienced and inexperienced entrepreneurs.

Applicants considered for acceptance may be interviewed. Persons who do not meet academic or work experience requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
