SALISES - Haiti Outreach (SHOUT) Project Appeal

The Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES), at The University
of the West Indies (UWI), has embarked on an outreach and support effort for the
children of Haiti. In particular, we have launched a project to support, in the first
instance, a co-educational kindergarten and primary school, the Ecole Vision Mondiale,
(Global Vision School).

The Mona branch of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute publishes the Social and Economic Studies (SES), a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that has been published continuously since 1953. The latest issue is (Vol. 72, Nos. 1 & 2) and examines "Republicanism in the Commonwealth Caribbean".
