The Principal, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, the Director, The Centre for Criminal Justice and Security (CCJS), in collaboration with
CariSECURE 2.0, invite you to a two-day Symposium
"From Research to Action: Focused Approaches to Crime Prevention".
The symposium will examine available research on targeted social approaches to crime prevention particularly among youth. It aims to encourage a shift in policy focus, as it relates to crime prevention and to forge consensus between the police and the many branches of government and civil society that are well placed to identify persons at risk of engaging in criminal activity.
