It\u2019s designed to monitor the consistency of application of the Campus\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/pulse\/campus-service-standards\/\" target=\"_blank\">Service Standards<\/a>. Each semester, a team of PULSE Checkers contacts Campus units by email, phone or in person with fictional requests for information or support. They report on the quality of their service interactions, providing Heads of department with valuable information that allows them to commend staff teams for quality service and\/or identify opportunities to review and improve processes, policies, supervision or staff training. PULSE Checkers also receive rewards for each PULSE Check they complete.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAny current student can sign up as a PULSE Checker. First, read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/103\/Resources\/PULSE-Checker-Agreement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">PULSE Checker Agreement<\/a>, which explains how the programme works.
