Call for submissions: Inaugural Caribbean STEM Summit

The inaugural Caribbean STEM Summit (CSS) will be held in hybrid mode on 26-28 June 2026. The CSS will be the premier gathering venue for Caribbean nationals and global collaborators who are leading groundbreaking research, pursuing real-world applications of STEM, financing STEM companies, and engaging in STEM education reform.
By creating a recurring platform for knowledge exchange, mentorship, and entrepreneurial growth, the CSS will help to build a vibrant, self-sustaining STEM community that will drive the Caribbean’s economic development for decades to come.
The events of the CSS will cover many of the critical STEM disciplines that align with the Caribbean’s development needs. The events of the CSS will include:
- Keynote Presentations and Vision Talks
- STEM Research Presentations
- Panel Discussions
- Entrepreneurship & Investment Opportunities
- STEM Talent Recruitment Opportunities for Corporations Seeking Employees
- Providing networking opportunities
- Facilitating exchanges of technical and business know-how, and
- Running a business-pitch session for entrepreneurs and investors.
Persons may participate in the CSS as:
- Presenters of contributed research papers
- Entrepreneurs presenting/pitching a business plan
- Investors and funding agencies in the STEM Startup Challenge
- Invited Keynote Speakers
- Government officials
- Active Observers (e.g., high school students, most university students, most teachers and parents)
Registration is open for (a) abstracts of contributed research papers, and (b) business plans summaries. The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2026. Registration deadline for observers is 25th June 2026.
