The Caribbean’s first extensive collection of medical artefacts has been rehoused in Barbados, following the official launch of the Cecil Cyrus Caribbean Museum of Medical History (CCCMMH) on Thursday, May 8.

This year’s event will bring together an exceptional lineup of industry leaders, including renowned director Ava DuVernay, celebrated actress Lorraine Toussaint, and award-winning author Marlon James, alongside Guyanese-born actress CCH Pounder, who returns after her prominent role in last year’s inaugural forum.
 
 

The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus has emerged winner of the 15TH Annual Caribbean Court of Justice International Law Moot competition, which was held in Trinidad and Tobago from March 20-21.
 
The team of third-year law students, Deborah Bryan (Senior Counsel), Alala Moore (Junior Counsel), and Khyle Harrisingh (Researcher), outperformed the seven other participating teams in the competition, which tested participants’ knowledge of international and CARICOM law, focusing on the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas and the Caribbean Single Market and Economy.
