APPLICATION STEPS: SHORT COURSES

STEP 1: CLICK APPLY FOR ADMISSION
You will be asked to set up an account. As a first time user, do this by clicking on First Time User Account Creation.
 
STEP 2: SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT
You will be prompted to create a Login ID and a PIN (Personal Identification Number). Make a note of your ID and PIN since you will need these to access your application information online after you logout of the system.
 
STEP 3: NOTE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE THE CPDLL SHORT COURSE ONLINE APPLICATION
  • On the ‘Select an Application Type’ page, to access the CPDLL Short Courses application, please select the CPDLL Short & Cert Programme application type from the drop down menu, and then click the Continue button, to proceed to the ‘Application to Admission’ page.
  • On the ‘Application to Admission’ page you must select the Admissions Term* (e.g. 2018/2019 Semester 1) from the drop down menu; enter your name in required fields, and then click the ‘Fill Out Application’ button to proceed to the ‘Application Checklist’ page’
  • On the ‘Application Checklist’ page follow the instructions and complete all relevant fields in the eight (8) sections listed. When you enter data in a section, a checkmark will appear by that section to indicate that all relevant information has been provided in that particular section.
  • Complete the application in full before submitting it.

*The Admissions Term for your course (s) of interest is specified on the respective courses pages.
 
STEP 4: SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
  • Once you have filled all the required information on the form and you are satisfied, submit your application by clicking the APPLICATION IS COMPLETE button.
  • Once the application has been submitted, you will not be able to make any changes to the information online. Any changes to applications already submitted must be made in writing via email at cpdll@cavehill.uwi.edu with details of the changes to be made.
  • After submitting the application, you will be taken to the ‘Admissions Agreement’ page where you will be prompted to agree to our Terms, followed by the ‘Declaration’ page confirming that your application has been successfully submitted.
Delegates of the Centre are responsible for informing themselves of CPDLL’s procedures, policies and regulations, and the specific requirements associated with the type of certificate sought.
 
STEP 5: APPLICATION SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION
  • After receiving confirmation that you have successfully submitted the online application, you will receive an email with your CPDLL Identification number, and further instructions on how to register and pay for your course (s) of interest within three (3) to five (5) business days. The email will be sent to the email address you provided in the online application.
  • Please note that if you have any outstanding fees for the UWI Cave Hill Campus, from previous enrolment, you will not be automatically accepted, and will have to settle any outstanding balances before you may enroll and register for any CPDLL courses.

STEP 6: SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTATION

Persons are required to submit the following documents to the CPDLL office immediately after completing the online application.  Persons may also scan these documents and submit them via email at cpdll@cavehill.uwi.edu. The documents are as follows:
  • Valid Government Issued Photo ID (e.g. national identification card; driver's license; passport)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (where your name has been changed through marriage)
  • Legal Affidavit or Deed Poll if your name is different from that on the Birth Certifiicate
