Business Writing for Professionals

Overview

Effective writing is a powerful tool. This interactive, hands-on course is for those who already have some facility with business writing skills. Class time will be devoted to the writing challenges business professionals regularly encounter. The course is specifically designed for senior executives and aspiring managers, experienced professionals looking to achieve more through business writing, supervisors and senior managers.

Sherry Asgill

Ms. Sherry Asgill is an educator with over twenty years’ experience which covers the entire education spectrum – the boardroom, training room, classroom and community.  She works with adults to facilitate intellectual and professional development.
Ms. Asgill’s specialty is communication, both oral and written. She has taught Writing for Special Purposes to undergraduates and to professionals over the past seven years. Ms. Asgill has delivered a variety writing workshops that met organisational needs for building effective customer relations and enhancing the image of the business.  Her passion is assisting her clients to develop their confidence, and to attain their unique voice to reach their audience.  She also helps clients understand the importance of active listening and creative, critical and social thinking.
Ms. Asgill’s strength comes through her ability to use her business and classroom experiences to understand the knowledge and skills her participants need to improve internal and external communication. She delivers her programmes in a way that excites and motivates participants to use their new skills.
