Delegates must attain a grade of at least 70% in order to receive the Professional Development Certificate of Competence.
Basic principles of coaching
Participants will meet for twelve (12) hours of instruction over two days or 4 three – hour sessions.
More than 50% of the course time will be spent honing practical skills.
Participants would also be required to submit a course work portfolio. Time will be allotted during class to complete elements of the portfolio.
Mr. Paul Sealy
As a certified Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, life-skills coach, trainer of trainers (TVET) and coach educator, Paul Sealy has fully integrated life coaching, sport psychology and NLP techniques into his work with clients with great success.
Mr Sealy’s qualifications include a Master of Arts degree in Human Kinetics with specialisations in Applied Sport Psychology and Sport Pedagogy at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with specialisations in Exercise Physiology, Coaching and Psychology from Acadia University, Nova Scotia, Canada. His expertise in sports science combined with formal training as a high–performance coach in Calgary, Canada, has enabled him to work with and mentor developmental and elite athletes and coaches in over fifteen disciplines.
