Overview

Businesses thrive when they actively seek to understand customers and develop strategies and tactics to capture their attention and secure their loyalty. This course focuses on the development of winning marketing strategies for the modern-day marketplace. The core content includes market analysis; brand/product strategies; service marketing strategies; distribution & logistics strategies; Integrated Marketing Communications strategies; and pricing strategies. These strategies will be examined as they relate to customers and competitors.

What will I Learn?

On successful completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Analyse markets to understand the dynamics at work in the marketplaces.
  • Develop appropriate marketing strategies to capitalize on the opportunities in those markest and mitigate the threats that exist.
  • Apply planning techniques to marketing.

Marketing personnel and those planning to make marketing a profession.
Marketing Business knowledge at supervisory level and/or a minimum of 3 years business experience (especially in some aspect of marketing).
 

The course material will be delivered using a combination of direct instruction, and independent learning. The direct instruction will consists of explicit teaching and associated didactic questions.
 
Delegates will be engaged in class discussions on strategies. These discussions will be based on questions posed by the lecturer and/or areas the students require further expansion in.
 
The independent learning consists of working on the marketing strategies.
