Logistics and Operations Management

Much of the economic activity in Barbados and the OECS is driven by the importation of raw materials and finished goods for manufacturing and retail.  This heavy dependence on expensive imports renders logistics and supply chain management critical tools for cost containment. In addition, the ability to make competitive inroads into export markets will increasingly depend on effective inbound logistics.  The CPDLL courses are designed to present participants with the most recent developments in logistics, supply chain management and operations management in order to effect the process re-engineering necessary for their organisations to minimise costs while still ensuring that goods and services meet the quality standards of target customers.
