Employee potential can remain untapped when managers/owners do not possess mentoring and coaching skills. This course will introduce supervisors and managers/business owners to the coaching techniques used to motivate employees, enhance their performance and effect behavioural change. Guidance on pursuing advanced coaching certification will also be provided.

The following topics will be addressed:
Delegates should be working in a supervisory or managerial position in an organization. No prior knowledge of coaching psychology necessary.
This course will be fully interactive and will be conducted face to face using a combination of methods, inclusive of multi-media presentations, discussions, case studies, and role plays.
Dr. Cheryl Cadogan-McClean is a certified Health and Wellness Coach. She holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is a Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist (CWWS). She is a member of the American Psychological Association. She has over fifteen (15) years’ experience as a lecturer in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. With a focus on workplace wellness; her areas of research include psychological wellbeing, physical activity, sedentary work behaviour, stress, and ethical decision making.
