WHAT WE DO



CPDLL offers a diverse range of short courses that contain the most up-to-date content related to developments in specific areas of interest. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the types of short courses offered by the Centre:
 
  • Professional Development Short Courses — refers to a wide variety of specialised training, formal education, or advanced professional learning intended to help professionals improve their knowledge, competence, skills, and effectiveness in their respective areas of expertise. These may include:

    • Short courses, conferences and seminars which provide opportunities to acquire Continuing Professional Education Units (CEUs) or in some instances Professional Development Units (PDUs)

    • Postgraduate standalone modules from existing MSc programmes to be awarded Postgraduate Professional Development Certificates of Competence

    • Customized training for organizations (on-campus/on-worksite)
       

  • Lifelong Learning Short Courses — refers to personal enrichment short courses for adult learners. Delegates of lifelong learning short courses acquire skills relevant to their personal development and their work environment.
