The Children’s Law Library established as an annex to the website of the Faculty of Law Library, UWI, Cave Hill Campus is a UNICEF-funded project. The purpose is to provide easy access to the law relating to children in the CARICOM countries covered by the UNICEF Office for the Eastern Caribbean Area.
The countries included are: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The law for each State or Dependent Territory is up to date to mid- 2012. It is expected that the database will be updated on an annual basis.
The Faculty of Law Library is honoured to partner with UNICEF in this important endeavour which will benefit legal scholars and any other persons who are interested in the welfare of children in the region.
