Face to Face and Online Tutor for Professional Development Programme

The UWI GCS Barbados is currently inviting tutor applications, to facilitate a course in its PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT programme.

Area of teaching:

• Real Estate Economics & Appraisal

 

Main Responsibilities of Tutor in the course include:

• Preparing relevant learning and study aids
• Providing instructional leadership in a blended format (online and/or face to face)
• Use the UWI’s online learning platform
• Moderating online discussions
• Grading and providing feedback on activities and assignments
• Responding to participants’ queries
• Fostering a healthy, learner-centred, online teaching-learning environment

 

Tutor’s main area of experience should include the following:

• Real estate
• Property valuation/appraisal
• Economics and investment analysis
• Chartered/professional valuations

Minimum Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in the respective discipline or subject matter for which he/she is applying would be an asset.
• A Bachelor’s degree or professional designation/certification in the specific subject area.
