TO 4:00 P.M.<\/strong> &nbsp;<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tEffective August 1, 2025 the Campus will no longer accept US$ denominated cheques or bank drafts for payments.&nbsp;&nbsp;Payments can be made using our Touchnet Online Facility and via wire transfers for the equivalent in Barbados currency of the purchase price\/rental deposit of the gown\/hood\/mortarboard, should be made payable to the&nbsp; University of the West Indies, Cave Hill.&nbsp; Cash payments will also be accepted at the Campus Cashier.&nbsp; Please note that <strong><u>personal cheques will not be accepted after October 09, 2026 and that the opening hours of the Cashier at the Cave Hill Bursary are 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. ONLY<\/u>.<\/strong> &nbsp;No payments will be received outside of this arrangement.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tGowns\/Hoods\/Mortarboards should normally be collected by the graduate ONLY.&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tYou are required to produce your <span><strong>STUDENT ID CARD<\/strong><\/span> and <span><strong>PROOF OF PAYMENT<\/strong><\/span> before being issued with the gown\/hood\/mortarboard.<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<strong><em>PLEASE NOTE: Graduands should not launder gowns\/hoods, as they will be cleaned&nbsp;prior to distribution.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tGraduands are asked to return the rented Gowns, Hoods and mortarboards to the Roy Marshall Teaching Complex, Cave Hill Campus no later than <strong><u>FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2026<\/u>&nbsp;between 9.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. (i.e. the week following the ceremony). The refund, would only be paid when the garments are returned to the University in good condition. <\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<strong><u>Any gowns\/hoods\/mortarboards returned after this date, the amount paid for the rental of the Gown\/Hood\/Mortarboard will be forfeited. Please be guided accordingly.<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Refunds will be available for collection at the Bursary\u2019s Cashier from Monday, October 19, 2026 to Friday, October 23, 2026 between <u>9.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m<\/u>. on presentation of your receipt of payment which you received from the Bursary\u2019s Cashier.&nbsp; <span>Please note that if you made an online payment, your refund will be an online transaction.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tIf you wish the refund to be paid to someone other than yourself, you should indicate this in writing to the Campus Bursar when collecting your gown\/hood.&nbsp; In addition, if you are requesting someone to return your gown you must ensure that the receipt you received is also given to the person returning the gown on your behalf.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<strong>SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR NON-RESIDENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<u>NON-RESIDENT<\/u>&nbsp;graduands who will be attending the Ceremony should make special arrangements with the&nbsp; Assistant Registrar \u2013 Examinations for collection and return of Gowns\/Hoods\/Mortarboards outside of the normal period.&nbsp; You may do so in writing via email (<a href=\"mailto:exams@cavehill.uwi.edu\"><strong>exams@uwi.edu<\/strong><\/a><strong>).<\/strong>&nbsp; If you are requesting someone to collect on
