One of the strategic aims of the University of the West Indies is to become an internationally recognized Center for Excellence for postgraduate education, especially respected and sought after for:<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

  1. The delivery of first rate postgraduate programmes<\/li>\n
  2. Its pre-eminence in Caribbean scholarship, and<\/li>\n
  3. Its output of higher degree graduates who are at the cutting edge of contemporary scholarship, clinical skills, professional development and expertise.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n
    The University offers a variety of postgraduate programmes including Taught Masters, Research Masters, Doctoral Degrees, and Specialized DM Degrees. Taught Masters programmes are administered through the Student Affairs, Admissions Office, while Research Masters, Doctoral Programmes, and Specialized DMs are administered by the School for Graduate Studies and Research (SGSR).<\/p>\n

    We operate an \u201copen door\u201d policy during the office hours: 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and have responsibility for the administration of all postgraduate programmes at the Cave Hill Campus including:<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
