In July 2013, the Barbados Accreditation Council (BAC) granted institutional accreditation to the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus for six years i.e.  from 2013-2019.  In 2019 the Campus retained its accreditation for a further 7 years.  This certification means that the Campus has met all of the requirements for the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
