Required from ALL applicants:
- Application Processing Fee (BDS $30 for applicants from contributing countries OR US $30 for applicants from a non-contributing countries)
- Birth Certificate (certified or notarised copy)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Two (2) Referee reports (Click here to download the referee report form) (Reports should be academic where possible OR at least one (1) academic and one (1) professional)
- Professional Certificates/Diplomas (certified or notarised copy if not granted by the UWI)
- Marriage Certificate (where applicable) (certified or notarised copy)
- Legal Affidavit or deed poll if your present name is different from that on the Birth Certificate (certified or notarised copy)
Tertiary level transcripts required from ALL non-UWI graduates:

These must be sent directly from the granting institution or forwarded from the World Education Services (WES) to Student Affairs, Admissions via email at admissions@cavehill.uwi.edu. Note that a student copy of your transcript will not be accepted.
Research Masters and Doctoral Applicants (click here to view the specialist DM degrees and click here to view research masters’ and doctoral degrees programmes)
These must be sent directly from the granting institution or forwarded from the World Education Services (WES) to the School for Graduate Studies and Research via email at gradstudies@cavehill.uwi.edu. Note that a student copy of your transcript will not be accepted.
Programme specific required documents from Taught Masters applicants:

Required from all MPHIL, PHD, and DBA applicants:
- The Research Proposal: Your research proposal (no more than 3,000 words, 1.5 spaced and justified) should contain the following:
- Proposed title of research
- Proposed research supervisor (you should review the profile of lecturers in your chosen field on the www.cavehill.uwi.edu website
- Background to your study (using academic literature sources)
- Aims and objectives of study
- Proposed research question(s) or hypothesis
- Proposed methodology
- Expected research outcomes and contribution
- Work plan to completion
- Reference list

This person should not be related to you.The UWI reserves the right to rescind offers if submitted documents are found to be fraudulent or misrepresented.
