Passwords: Youth Interventions to Address Gender-Based Violence

Passwords: Youth Interventions to Address Gender-Based Violence

The Passwords Project was designed as an initiative to discuss gender-based violence (GBV) with young people in age-appropriate and culturally contextual ways.

Under this project, the IGDS:NBU collaborated with local actors, writers and producers to create a short film, titled Passwords, which is accompanied by a bespoke discussion guide to facilitate the conversations on emerging themes.
A screening and workshop was also held, which attracted over 30 students from six (6) secondary schools. Finally, a discussion guide created by the IGDS:NBU was piloted at the workshop to facilitate workshop conversations.
