In association with the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Options of a Double Major combining Computer Science with Accounting or Management are also offered to select students. Please refer to the Faculty of Science & Technology  2020-2021 Undergraduate Handbook for Options in conjunction with other Faculties.

It is a requirement of the discipline that, to pass any Computer Science course, students must pass both Coursework and Final exam.

Full details of the Programme Structure including pre-requisites, co-requisites and anti-requisites for all CMP disciplines are listed on pages 188-282 of the FST Undergraduate Handbook.

Computer Science queries should be directed via email or telephone to Dr. Thomas Edward, Computer Science Coordinator.

What Will I Study?

Computer Science teaches us about the underpinning of computation and information. Our program takes both a nuts and bolts practical approach to computation, and complements that with the science and theory that makes it all work.

You will learn how to take any problem, examine it, deconstruct it and build the necessary computing solution. See below for the programme details.
