Research Areas

Electro-optical properties of Liquid Crystals and Liquid Crystal Polymer blends: - Optical Activity and Light scattering measurements are performed on these complex systems. Polarizing microscopy and spectro-photometric measurements are also used to examine phase transitions and the dynamics of these systems.

Control Electronics: The use of computers to automate, control and record data for experiments has led to better experimental results and a greater volume of such results.

Improving Solar Cell Efficiency
