Both Undergraduate and Postgraduate research in these and related areas are supported. <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tFaculty members pursue research in accordance with their areas of expertise. Current research areas include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-angela-alleyne\/\">Molecular Disease Markers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-bidyut-mohapatra\/\">Environmental Microbiology<\/a>, Turfgrass Management, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-henri-valles\/\">Coral Reef Ecology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-isabelle-gouirand\">Climate Change<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-leah-garner-o-neale\/\">Water Chemistry<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/dr-leah-garner-o-neale\/\">Membrane Technology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/professor-sean-mcdowell\/\">Theoretical Chemistry<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/staff-profile\/professor-avril-r-williams\/\">Toxin Detection<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Postgraduate research is undertaken in both research-based (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/programme\/supervised-mphil-or-phd-in-biochemistry-biology\/\">MPhil or PhD<\/a>) and taught (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/fst-bcs\/programme\/dip-msc-biosafety\/\">MSc<\/a>) graduate programmes.
