Dr. Bailey joined the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute for Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) at Cave Hill Campus approximately 14 years ago. The way Dr. Bailey shaped and pursued his research agenda over time reflected both his curiosity and the institute&#8217;s relationships with international organisations, donors and Caribbean government agencies. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/Resources\/Corin-Bailey-Principal-s-Award.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Read more\u00bb<\/a><\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"row border-bottom pb-3 align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-5\">\n<div class=\"lc-block\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/Images\/Staff-Images\/Cynthia-Barrow-Giles.jpg\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-7\">\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<p><strong>Ms. Cynthia Barrow-Giles<\/strong> won the Principal&#8217;s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Service. Ms. Barrow-Giles is a Senior Lecturer in Political Science in the Department of Government, Sociology, Social Work and Psychology. Amid the COVID19 pandemic, Ms. Barrow-Giles travelled as a member of a High Level CARICOM Mission, to observe Guyana&#8217;s general and regional elections. She returned again as Team Leader of the CARICOM Observer Team to scrutinise the recount of the votes cast when controversy arose over the outcome <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/Resources\/Cynthia-Barrow-Giles-Principal-s-Award-updated.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Read more\u00bb<\/a><\/strong>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"row border-bottom pb-3 align-items-center\">\n<div class=\"col-md-5\">\n<div class=\"lc-block\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cavehill.uwi.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/40\/Images\/Staff-Images\/Glenda-Gay.jpg\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-7\">\n<div class=\"lc-block\">\n<div editable=\"rich\">\n<p><strong>Dr. Glenda Gay<\/strong> was awarded the Principal&#8217;s Award for Excellence for Outstanding Teaching. Dr. Gay is a lecturer in the Department of Management Studies.
